Hello

Hi, I’m Gurveena. Or Gugs for short.  I am a zoologist at heart and have always loved wild things, big and small, for as long as I can remember. I was born and raised in Kenya and was lucky enough to see a lot of wildlife and landscapes across sub Saharan Africa. I studied Zoology and for the last 12 years been working in conservation across different countries.  I recently moved back to Kenya and work on a marine conservation project on the north coast of Kenya, based in Lamu. 
I love nature, in the broadest sense, and have a soft spot for species or landscapes that tend to get overlooked and that are under appreciated.
